Keri Lydon, Ph.D., MPH, is a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Health Science at the University of Georgia (UGA), where she teaches environmental microbiology and water quality. She earned her Ph.D. in environmental health science from the University of Georgia and MPH and B.S. from the University of South Carolina. Prior to her current position at UGA, Lydon worked at the United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA)’s Gulf Coast Seafood Lab conducting research in microbial seafood safety. Her current research interests include environmental microbiology, seafood safety and aquatic pathogens.
