ASM Leadership Attends White House Bioeconomy Summit
ASM's Chief Executive Officer Stefano Bertuzzi and ASM Secretary Tim Donohue attended the White House Bioeconomy Summit, hosted by the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). The event was organized by OSTP Director Kelvin Droegemeier and his staff in response to the identification of the bioeconomy as a strategic research and development priority for the Administration. Approximately 100 leaders from academia, scientific societies, government and industry convened to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with growing a vibrant bioeconomy in the United States.
